On 31 May, OL Science & Tech Fest will take place in the main building of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv and in the square in front of the university.

The event brings together talented young people and progressive scientists who are changing the world.

For the sixth time, OL Science & Tech Fest unites scientists, educators, engineers, entrepreneurs, IT industry leaders, startup founders, and proactive young people developing their potential in science and technology.

Event programme includes:

• an open-air exhibition of scientific developments and innovations from Ukraine and around the world
• student competitions in applied engineering
• inspiring talks by top national and international speakers in science and technology

Main stage speaker

Kip Stephen Thorne — Nobel Prize laureate, theoretical physicist, renowned scientific consultant and executive producer of the films Interstellar, Tenet, and Contact.

Speakers lineup

The lineup features professionals who launch technology startups, teach at leading universities worldwide, work at the intersection of science and entrepreneurship, and help shape public policy in education, innovation, and development.

Among them:

Olena Kompaniiets — astrophysicist, junior researcher at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine

Kateryna Terletska — scientist, Ukrainian mathematician, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences in the field of mechanics
